The project
Ousebank provided Project Management and Quantity Surveying services for the proposed redevelopment of a listed building on High Ousegate, in the heart of York city centre. The project focused on bringing the underutilised upper floors back into use, maximising the potential of the existing property while respecting its historic character. Working within the constraints of a listed building and a sensitive city-centre location, Ousebank supported the development through the planning process, helping to secure a successful planning approval. The project demonstrates our experience in unlocking the potential of existing buildings and navigating the commercial and technical challenges associated with heritage properties.
