The project

Ousebank provided early-stage Project Management and Quantity Surveying support in connection with the proposed residential development at the former Barbican swimming pool site in York. The prominent city-centre location presented a range of planning, design and commercial considerations, requiring a coordinated approach to progressing the development proposals. Our involvement included supporting the Section 73 planning application process, alongside early project and cost advice to inform the emerging proposals. The wider scheme has subsequently secured planning permission, representing a significant regeneration opportunity within York city centre.
