The project

Ousebank was appointed to provide planning coordination, Project Management and Building Surveying services at Cumberland House, a Grade I listed building in York. The commission encompassed planning coordination and support for repair works, with a focus on the sensitive care and maintenance of the historic property. Ousebank’s involvement combined building surveying advice with the coordination of planning matters and management of works, supporting a considered approach to the building’s repair requirements. Our role focused on helping progress the works whilst respecting the building’s historic fabric, architectural character and listed status.
